Imagine Freedom
Connecting with Therapy Services for the LGBTQ+ Community in Connecticut and New York
#Goals
My goal is to help young people, parents, and families who feel they want guidance navigating gender, sexual orientation, and relationships experience feeling embraced and understood. We do this by engaging in a therapeutic process that exists without judgment in a compassionate, knowledgeable, and fun environment.
(We may end up sitting on the floor coloring in adult coloring books and talking about TikTok!)
My practice is designed to promote self-discovery, open lines of communication, and create space for vulnerability and understanding.

What’s up!
I’m so glad you are here.
One of my clients said to me recently, “I wish I could wake up in a world where people aren’t who they are,”… and I felt that. We have all been going through so much over the last couple of years. You may have felt isolated, stifled, or misunderstood.
It’s been hard during this time to watch the news or find positive role models that give you hope for our future.
Many folks have experienced feeling depressed or like everything sucks and isn’t getting better.
Will daily life as we know it ever be the same?
If you are feeling any of this – I’ve got you.
Whether you are a gender non-conforming young person who wants to feel seen, a couple who wants to identify their options, or a parent that stays up night after night worrying about their child, I’m here for you, and I’d like to see how I can help.

Hopefully you can feel a bit better
knowing that you have support
from here, and we can address
these issues together.

I’m so glad you are here!
My name is Ashby; pronouns she/her, and my passion is working with LGBTQ+ young people and families.
After living in New York City for 20+ years, I brought my practice to Connecticut. I love Fairfield and know that we need queer role models and resources in the area, now more than ever!
I have worked with LGBTQ+ and at-risk young people for a long time and know the power of connection and support. Often, it doesn’t take much – just the right fit to offer a safe, brave space to explore feelings and validate experiences.

So, all in all – I’m super chill and here to listen.
I’d like to support you on your journey.
